On the Drowning Way.
The Garden of Iron
Formally known as the Summer Lands, the Garden of Iron represents some of the fiercest fighting of the War of Cinders, and the greatest losses of the Hegemony of Sky. What once was a fertile food basket is now a wasteland, devoid of cities of the living (although rumors of a Necropolis abound), with only barbarian tribes eking out an existence within it’s borders. At it’s heart is the giant crater of Rjyarhl, the former City of the Fields, finally leveled in one day of fighting, along with both armies, by a cataclysm of unknown cause. Even the coast line bears the scars of this disaster, breaking it, and plunging much into the sea. As such the jagged rocks and labyrinthine canals bear the name of Dragon’s Maw.
